Hebrews 11:1 says that FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things not seen. I'll come back to that in a minute...

 

I am a New Orleans-based jewelry and accessories crafter who hails from Chicago. I've always had a creative streak whether it be for music, yarn crafts, decorating, or accessorizing. However, not one to take too many big and bold fashion risks, I learned quickly that I could make a strong statement with my accessories - jewelry, scarves, handbags, shoes - you name it. If it adds flair, I like it!! I want it in my life!!!  I've always loved experimenting with color combinations and I believe those things are what sparked my passion for designing jewelry. When I go on a bead procurement excursion, I'm like a little kid in a candy store - wide-eyed with wonder, totally immersed and inspired.

 

My prayer is that YOU will feel just as inspired as I do when you accessorize with Faith Flow Designs. Each piece is handcrafted and I absolutely love the creativity and craft of it. It began as a new form of therapy for me. After I lost most of the feeling in my fingertips after a few rounds of chemotherapy (I'm now cancer-free!!), crafting jewelry was another way to keep my small motor skills active (in addition to knitting and crocheting). I would crack up laughing at the way I'd drop beads all over the place as I struggled to grip them in my fingers. But I stayed with it, and the more I beaded, the more I loved it. I started out making pieces just for my personal collection and then began giving away pieces as gifts. And well...

 

Here we are. The result is Faith Flow Designs. I want to give you high style at affordable prices. My designs come from a place of SUBSTANCE and from a thoughtfully creative point of view based on a lifetime of images, memories, travel, dreams, and experiences to inspire me. I gravitate mostly towards bracelets because they're just so versatile. I flow from boho chic to casual elegance ranging from muted neutrals to earth tones to bold and colorful. Want some bling? I've gotcha covered because I flow with that too!! It's all about having choices. Some days you feel like black onyx and some days you want shiny Swarovski® crystals!! I totally get it. Whatever your choice, the bottom line is that I want these pieces to make you feel like your head is lifted just a little higher when you walk out that door.

 

All of my pieces are handcrafted using carefully selected gemstones, glass, and crystal beads, genuine leather, vegan leather, eco-friendly cork, Fair Trade materials such as wood beads, and only hypoallergenic, lead-free, and nickel-free metals including items featuring .925 Sterling Silver and Stainless Steel. And if you see something here that you absolutely love but you want a different color or size than the ready-made item, I will customize your piece if it is at all possible based on the availability of components. 

 

Many have heard and used the expression, "step out on FAITH". Well, this is me, stepping out on FAITH. I couldn't SEE how I could craft jewelry with numb fingertips. But Faith Flow Designs is the EVIDENCE. And when you wear Faith Flow Designs, I hope that you feel inspired, encouraged, and empowered, letting your walk show EVIDENCE of having an attitude of gratitude, a countenance of confidence, and a fierce FAITH that your hopes, dreams, and desires are on the way!!
